photography, writing, fine art... stuff ... other stuff ...
I'm always open to working with new people. You can contact me by email,
models at harrysmart dot plus dot com
(put it into the usual format ... the 'at' and 'dot' stuff just protects me from spam).
What happens to the images?
My photographs are made to be seen. I show my work to people in the college, and want to be free to include it in exhibitions. I also like to keep a selection of my work online. But I make the work because I enjoy it, because I learn from it, and because I think it has value in its own right, and I hope you feel the same way. If you're happy, I'd like you to sign a standard release form, which gives me the freedom to publish images as I choose, or to sell them. You can say which images are publishable, and which remain private.
Where?
I live in Montrose, and college is in Dundee, where I have access to a studio.
Most of my work, however, is shot at home, where we have plenty of space.
How much?
I work TFP (time for prints). I'll give you either a selection of images as inkjet prints, and your
favourite shot printed onto photographic paper (done by a lab from a digital
file) which has more permanence. All the shots I select to work on are scanned, so you can also get a CD
with the files.
What if I'm ...
Shy, spotty ... not quite as slim as I used to be ...?
The stuff I'm interested in is not about traditionally glamorous looks. Many shots are only of sections of the body, and there's many a blemish can be buried in shadow or burned out into a highlight. If all else fails, there's gaffer tape. I don't shoot girls under 16 in 'glamour' styles, but I've yet to establish an upper limit.
